The trailer of the highly innovative Shoorveer is now out. Normally, SonyLIV is credited for bringing out of the box innovative shows like Rocket Boys. But this time Disney+Hotstar is again bringing a supernice show with a grand scale.
Shoorveer starring Makarand Deshpande, Manish Chaudhari, Regina Cassandra, Armaan Ralhan, Aadil Khan, Abhishek Saha, Anjali Barot, Kuldeep Sareen, Arif Zakaria, Faisal Rashid, Sahil Mehta and Shivya Pathani in important roles is the first of its kind on Indian OTT.
The series is set after an attack which forces Indian authorities to vision something unprecedented. Brave soldiers from Army, Navy and Air Force are trained together under a special force called “Hawk”. That way, they are able to tackle a varied set of enemies.
The scale and vision remind us of “The Empire”. This was yet another Disney+Hotstar venture released last year which told us the story of Babur. However, the concept of saving the nation is similar to that of Special Ops.
With a perfect cocktail, Shoorveer indeed has the potential of doing something magical for the Indian OTT space because hardly any platform has done something at such a magnificent scale.
Regardless, the series will release on 15th July.
Shoorveer will stream on Disney+ Hotstar in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali.
