Snubbing the rumours about the controversy around the series, Amazon Prime Video has announced that Inside Edge season 3 will be coming soon on the platform.

Earlier, reports were doing round that Amazon has asked the makers to re-shoot a portion of the series as it thought it was substandard and also that it contained potentially controversial elements. There were talks that the platform didn’t want to stir any issues after the ‘Tandav’ controversy and/or hurt its brand image and hence wanted to avoid any adverse situation.
‘Inside Edge‘ is a sports-drama series that revolves around cricket and what goes behind the scenes of those pompous cricket leagues. The amazon original series stars Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chadha, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Tanuj Virwani, Angad Bedi, Sayani Gupta, Aamir Bashir, Sapna Pabbi, Manu Rishi and Amit Sial among others.
Created by Karan Anshuman, ‘Inside Edge’ season 3 will be directed by Kanishk Verma. Excel Entertainment has produced the series with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani serving as its executive producers.
