Take a bow, Harman Wadala, Ajitpal Singh and Ajay Rai! For those who don’t know, the aforementioned gents are the fabulous creative team behind SonyLIV‘s hit web series ‘Tabbar’. After wowing audiences in India, ‘Tabbar’ seems to have hit the sweet spot internationally too. The gritty series has landed the number 5 spot in distinguished media publication Variety’s ‘Best International Shows Of 2021’ list, out of a total of 13 best shows that feature on the list.
It is certainly a great achievement for ‘Tabbar‘. Suffice to say that the show deserves all the accolades it has racked up, both in India and internationally. SonyLIV’s dark and grim web series ‘Tabbar’ has received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. The gritty and gripping thriller has garnered fulsome praise for its script, narrative, direction, and most of all, for its terrific performances.
For those who still don’t know anything about the show, ‘Tabbar’ is an edge-of-the-seat thriller streaming on SonyLIV. Tabbar charts the journey of a retired police constable who pushes all boundaries to save his family from the consequences of an unfortunate incident. With a stellar ensemble cast comprising actors like Pawan Malhotra, Supriya Pathak, Gagan Arora, Paramvir Cheema, Kanwaljit Singh, and Ranvir Shorey, Tabbar keeps you glued throughout.
Tabbar is directed by Ajitpal Singh, and produced by Ajay Rai of JAR Pictures. It is written by Harman Wadala and Sandeep Jain, and the show’s music is produced by Sneha Khanwalkar.
