It seems like the Marvel Cinematic Universe is back on its “fresh RT” track with its latest instalment, Spider-Man No Way Home. The franchise lost its balance when Eternals scored 47% last month on the same critics rating platform. It was panned by the critics for its overstuffed and complicated plot. Additionally, it turned out to be a box office bomb after earning nearly $395 million globally against a production budget of $200 million. However, this will not be the case with Spidey’s forthcoming bonanza.
NWH has received the rare “100%” rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 46 reviews so far. We know that the rating may come down after its official release. Still, the initial reactions say a lot about the movie. Early reviews have hailed the MCU’s latest entry. The plot, performances, and action sequences have received a lot of praise. And not to our surprise, the trio of Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon has impressed the critics most.
Box office pundits have predicted that NWH may collect around $150-180 million in its opening weekend domestically. It means that the total worldwide collection in the debut weekend may augment up to $450-500 million. And we know how bad Marvel Studios needs a smashing box office success these days.
Spider-Man No Way Home will drop a day in India before its official release in the US. It will release on the upcoming December 16 on Indian soil. Book your tickets now!
