Ladies and gentlemen! The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. After a long, long wait, Netflix has officially disclosed the release date for Stranger Things Season 5. In fact, there are multiple release windows, as the final season has been divided into three parts. We have less than six months before our favourite bunch of nerds make their final stand against Vecna, promising an epic ride through Hawkins, Indiana.
Stranger Things Season 5 is scheduled for release this fall. The season will be split into three parts, with the first four episodes dropping on November 26. Three more episodes will be released on Christmas Day, and the series finale will air on New Year’s Eve.
Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer have confirmed that previously unrevealed lore from their original 25-page document about the mysterious dimension known as the Upside Down will finally come to light, significantly shaping the final season.
According to the official synopsis, the final season takes place in the fall of 1987 in Hawkins. The small town has suffered massive destruction due to the “Rifts,” leading our heroes on a hunt for the vanished Vecna. Their mission is complicated by a military quarantine and the government’s intense search for Eleven, forcing her into hiding.
Stranger Things Season 5 stars Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Noah Schnapp (Will), Sadie Sink (Max), Winona Ryder (Joyce), David Harbour (Jim), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan), Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Joe Keery (Steve), Maya Hawke (Robin), Priah Ferguson (Erica), Brett Gelman (Murray), Jamie Campbell Bower (Vecna), and more.
