Hostel Daze, TVF’S latest web series, has dropped on Amazon Prime Video. Here’s all the dope on this latest show to hit the digital domain.
Kota Factory, by The Viral Fever (TVF), had been a huge hit for the prolific content creators. The digital content company, which has its finger firmly on the pulse of the young 18-30 somethings of the country, specializes in creating content that invariably finds the sweet spot of viral success with millennials.
While Kota Factory had portrayed the grueling struggle that kids go through, prepping for IIT entrance exams, while living in pigeonhole-sized rooms in Kota hostels, its new show, Hostel Daze, depicts the life of engineering students living in hostels.
Kota Factory showed what it takes for kids to get into a top engineering college. Hostel Daze goes one step ahead — it aims to decode how engineering gets into the kids. Huh, pretty cool stuff, right?
Apparently, Hostel Daze will showcase hostel life, more specifically, an engineering student’s hostel life.
The web show stars Nikhil Vijay as ‘Jhantoo’, aka Jatin, Shubham Gaur as ‘Bhasins Buddhi’, aka Rupesh Bhati, Adarsh Gaurav as ‘Dopa’, aka Ankit Pandey, Luv as ‘Genius’, aka Chirag Bansal. It also stars Nidhi Bisht, Sanchay Goswami and Ahsaas Channa in prominent roles. And oh yes, Ranjan Raj, of Kota Factory fame, too.
The series is written by Sameer Saxena and Saurabh Khanna, and directed by Raghav Subbu.
