Based on a series originally made in 1959 and created by Rod Serling, THE TWILIGHT ZONE is an American anthology web television series developed by Simon Kinberg, Jordan Peele and Marco Ramirez. It is a re-imagination of the original series which became a worldwide phenomenon and many were and continue to be inspired by it to push the boundaries of storytelling.
The Twilight Zone will take you to another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind. The story explores the human condition and culture of the times. This series which became a seedbed for sci-fi series, explores humanity’s hopes, despairs, prides and prejudices in metaphoric ways.
Executive producers Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg’s modern re-creation of the classic TV series continues the legacy of socially conscious storytelling. Peele will reprise his role as host while the new season will include a new roster of actors telling stories that range from sci-fi to fantasty to downright creepy. The series’ second season has introspective episodes which will usher viewers into a dimension filled with endless possibilities.
The Twilight Zone season 2 will stream on Voot Select from 25th June, 2020.
