Allu Arjun and Sukumar recently collaborated for Pushpa: The Rise which went on a great run at the box office in the Hindi circuit despite the weak reviews. Now, the stage is set for the second installment of the Pushpa franchise. The second part, titled Pushpa: The Rule will be hitting the floors this March or April and Sukumar is busy finalizing the script for the same. As per reports, Sukumar is having to attribute some special additions to the second part, given the surprisingly good performance of Pushpa: The Rise in the Hindi circuit.
The idea is to make the second part more relatable to the Hindi audience. The first step to attain the same is roping in at least a couple of noted Bollywood actors. Next comes the cosmetic changes to the script and narrative in order to accommodate the sensibilities of the Hindi audience. Sukumar is said to be focusing on these two aspects now.
It is heard that only 4-5 central characters from the first part will be carried forward to the second part. There are reports claiming that there will be another antagonist in the second part alongside Fahadh Faasil. Well, it sure does appear to be that there will be a fair few changes to the second installment of Pushpa. This might ultimately tamper with the flow and the essence that was established with the first part. Sukumar should be wary of the same.
Allu Arjun insists on taking Pushpa: The Rule onto the floors by this March or April and then release the film theatres by the end of this year. This time constraint is another challenge for Sukumar. He has a lot riding on his shoulders now.
