This Poila Boishakh’s gonna be musically huge for Bong audiences. Just after Hoichoi TV confirmed the return of musical-thriller Shei Je Holud Pakhi S2 yesterday, popular actor Parambrata Chatterjee took to his social media account to reveal the trailer of his new musical drama film, ‘Tangra Blues‘. The SVF Entertainment film promises high-octane drama and thrills for fans of the genre. Tangra Blues will release in theatres this Poila Boishakh, on 15th April, 2021.
Earlier on 1st of April, when Parambrata revealed the first look of Tangra Blues, he shared, “This Bengali New Year, get ready for an epic tale of beats and the blues… a long nurtured dream, as I’ve said before, now seeing light of day. this is the first look. Trailer coming in two days!”. The first look of the film gave out “Gully Boy” vibes. And today, after watching the trailer, fans can re-imagine it as Gully Boy meets Rock On meets Madly Bangali Combo, but from a more vibrant and loud angle.
Parambrata is on a roll with back to back announcements of new projects. He just released the trailer of the Soumitra Chatterjee biopic ‘Abhijaan’ a few days ago. In this rough & tough trailer of Tangra Blues, Parambrata is seen nurturing and motivating a few orphaned street kids along with female lead Madhumita Sarcar, to help them rise against all odds and discrimination to reach the top of the musical ladder.
Tangra Blues is produced by SVF Roadshow Films and Supriyo Sen is in charge of the director’s chair.
We are sure that fans have already started rooting for this unknown yet intriguing story of the boys from Tangra, which will go live on 15th April, 2021 on the occasion of the Bengali New Year and it will surely create “Hoichoi” in the theatres.
