Starring Elisabeth Moss and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, this Richard Shepard directed film is high in love and we could easily invest 32-minute in this love story.

Little Ramona always lands in trouble and seeks refuge to her elder sister Beezus who is also a bit disturbed with the thing going on around her. A live-action adaptation of Walt Disney’s 1959 animated film Sleeping Beauty, the story is showcased from the perspective of the eponymous antagonist, depicting her conflicted relationship with the king and princess of a corrupt kingdom. I bet there is not a single person on the planet that is not in love with this epic tale of the Jungle with Bagheera, Baloo, Kaa, Akela, Raksha and King Louie. The film is based on a non-fiction book Nomadland: Surviving America in the Twenty-First Century by Jessica Bruder and a number of real-life nomads appear as fictionalized versions of themselves, including Linda May, Swankie, and Bob Wells in the film. The story revolves around a woman who leaves her hometown after her husband dies and the sole industry closes down, aiming to be “houseless” and travel around the United States. Frances McDormand won the best actress award and Chloé Zhao won the best director award in 93rd Academy Awards for the same. It’s definitely a movie to die for.

24. The Namesake 

The Namesake One of the American films with an Indian connection, The Namesake is a signature film of the late actor Irrfan Khan. Directed by ace filmmaker Mira Nair, the film revolves around Ashoke and Ashima Ganguli portrayed by Irrfan Khan and Tabu, first-generation immigrants from West Bengal, India to the United States, and their American-born children Gogol. The film takes place primarily in Kolkata, New York City, and suburbs of New York City. A recipient of major critical reception, the film is a major milestone for both Irrfan Khan and Tabu along with Indian-American actor Kal Penn. A must watch of Indian audiences.

The film follows a futuristic world in the year 2154, where earthlings have colonized a livable plant in Alpha Centauri solar system, named Pandora and soon the native humanoids called the Na’vis begin a war for survival as the humans threaten to destroy their home ground and their very existence. A winner of several visual effects orient awards, Avatar even after 12 years of its release, is the best VFX oriented film and a visual extravaganza for every single human on the planet and the first film to gross over 2 billion dollars.

16. Titanic 

Titanic A winner of a record-breaking eleven Academy Awards, Titanic is often considered as the greatest film ever made. The second James Cameron directorial after Avatar in the list, Titanic is based on the true story of the ill-fated sea voyage of one of the grandest ships in the world in 1912 which resulted in shipwreck after colliding with an iceberg in the Atlantic ocean killing almost 1500 passengers.
