The weekend is here, and we have a fresh set of recommendations. We have two series and a film which have a common thrilling element running through them. These are sure to keep you on edge, even if it is home viewing.
The Family Man: Amazon Prime Video
The Family Man is a spy thriller that stars Manoj Bajpayee in the central role of a family man and an agent. The terrific act by the lead along is enough to give it a try. But, there are more thrills in store. It is a tad predictable if you are a regular follower of the genre. If not, there is a lot of entertainment in store via the writing of Raj & DK.
Rakshasudu: SunNext
Rakshasudu is one of the best thrillers to come out of India, and not just South India, in the last few years. The story is fantastic, and the screenplay filled with chilling moments will engage the viewer from the start to the end. Oh, and the background score is on a whole new level altogether. It alone is enough to watch the movie once. Bellamkonda Suresh and Amala Paul were the lead in the film directed by Ramesh Varma.
Unbelievable: Netflix
The Netflix original series is slow-paced but is a thrill ride none the less. What makes it even better is the emotional connect and the drama associated with the stigma around ‘rape’. It is gut-wrenching, no doubt, but it offers a terrific fulfilment of emotion at the end that is very rare occurring in most of the content these days. If you want to watch anything for Binge, give it a try first.
