Mrs Serial Killer, the new movie from Netflix is making the news for all the wrong reasons. We have reviewed it and termed it an absolute waste of resources. It has been a unanimous response from most, as well. It is akin to the thrashing received by Drive.
The Netflix Indian content wing is once again under severe criticism for its disastrous selection. The good outings from the platform are becoming an exception rather than regularity. It is increasing the frustration among the subscribers who shell out high premium monthly, especially the Indian viewer that is not interested in non-local content.
The raging online junta has thrashed everyone associated with Mrs Serial Killer. However, there is one who has remained unscathed amidst all these trolls. He is none other than Manoj Bajpayee, the star of the successful series The Family Man.
Many believe that only Manoj Bajpayee provided some relief in the mess. It is mostly the case with many projects the actor is associated with. He always manages to shine whenever there is scope.
More than anyone, and it includes the heroine Jacqueline Fernandez, who is getting the most trolling is the director Shirish Kunder. He is the husband of choreographer turned director Farah Khan.
Mrs Serial Killer is his third attempt at the direction, and Shirish Kunder has failed on all three occasions. The two especially have been among the worst outings from Bollywood starring notable names. We have to see if he gets another chance after this.
