It is finally here. After teasing us with… well teasers and other small promotional videos, the highly anticipated trailer of Netflix’s upcoming live-action adaptation of ‘Cowboy Bebop‘ has finally dropped… And it is chaotic – just the way we like it. Like all other Netflix trailers, this promo video too dropped on the official YouTube channel of the OTT platform. The trailer for this upcoming sci-fi western can be viewed at the end of this article.
As mentioned earlier, the trailer is quite chaotic. While the 160-second promo does feature many epic moments from the anime as well as some other memorable characters, we are just as equally hyped up about the web series’ opening theme. The trailer has not revealed the anime remakes main storyline – instead, it just gives us a different look at Spike Spiegel; which means that the web series could try something different from the original source material. But, we seriously doubt it.
As mentioned earlier, this upcoming web series is based on the anime series of the same name, which was based on the manga series of the same name written by Hajime Yatate and illustrated by Cain Kuga. Cowboy Bebop follows Spike Spiegel, Jet Black and Faye Valentine who team up to collect the bounties of criminals together. Each person is deadly in their own way and they quickly overcome the shortcomings of their teammates. This ragtag crew start to pick up more crewmates along the way while taking up more and more dangerous assignments.
The highly anticipated anime remake, ‘Cowboy Bebop’ will premiere on Netflix on November 19th 2021.
