After announcing the musical rights acquisition by T-Series and Lahari Music yesterday, makers of ‘RRR’ have today unveiled the musicians coming together for the much anticipated ‘Dosti’ song. ‘RRR’ is a MM Keeravaani musical film.
The announcement was made with a poster featuring Hemachandra, Anirudh Ravichander, Amit Trivedi, Vijay Yesudas and Yasin Nizar. The poster also shows the iconic ‘RRR’ fisted hands with fire burning around them. The post also revealed the release date and time for the first song from the film that will come out on 1st August, 2021 at 11 AM.

S. S. Rajamouli is reuniting with the National Award winning ‘Baahubali’ music composer MM Keeravaani for his magnum opus ’RRR’. The film promises a musical extravaganza and these five finest of musicians from different regions have come together to sing and shoot the much awaited ‘Dosti’ song. This very song serves as the theme song for ‘RRR’.
Amit Trivedi, a national award winning music composer, is known for his music in films like ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Udta Punjab’, ‘Andhadhun’, ‘Lootera’ and many more. On the other hand, the young musical maestro who debuted with the hit song ‘Why This Kolaveri Di’ has many credits to his name such as ‘Paava Kadhaigal’ and ‘Master’ among others.
Hemachandra is known for his songs in films like ‘Vakeel Saab’, ‘Colour Photo’, ‘Fidaa’, ‘Baadshah’ and many more. Having sung over 300 songs, Vijay Yesudas is known for his songs like Kolakkuzhal Vili Ketto” in Nivedyam (2007), “Akaleyo Nee” in Grandmaster and “Mathram” in Spirit (2012) and “Poomuthole” in Joseph (2018) among others. And last but not the least, Yasin Nazir has songs like “Sitara” (Winner), “Yemanidhi” (Rangula Ratnam) and more to his name.
Boasting an ensemble cast of Ram Charan, NTR Jr., Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt among others, ‘RRR’ is produced by by D. V. V. Danayya of DVV Entertainments. The production companies associated with the film are Lyca Productions and Pen Studios.
‘RRR’ is set to release in theatres on 13th October, 2021.
