Greyhound - little voice - Greatness Code -Ted Lasso -Apple TV PlusApple TV+ has a number of movies and series lined up for its viewers. It has some pretty interesting content to offer. With huge investment in original content and a captive audience on its devices, we wouldn’t count them out of the “streaming wars,” but it’ll all depend on the quality of original shows and films that Apple has in the pipeline. The following is streaming for free on the platform, from 18th to 30th June, marking the celebration of the Juneteenth :

1) The Banker

This drama directed by George Nolfi and produced by Joel Viertel is inspired by true events. Based on the events that took place in the 1950s and 1960s, the story follows two revolutionary entrepreneurs, Bernard Garrett (Anthony Mackie) and Joe Morris (Samuel L. Jackson). These two African Americans hatch an ingenius business plan to fight for housing integration and equal access to the American Dream for their community.

They knew this wouldn’t be possible for them to do, so along with Garrett’s wife Eunice (Nia Long), they train a working class white man, Matt Steiner (Nicholas Hoult), to pose as the rich and privileged face of their burgeoning real estate and banking empire – while Garrett and Morris pose as a janitor and a chauffeur. Becoming successful comes with its own flaws and this exactly happened to them when they drew attention of federal government.
