This Week’s Top Foreign OTT Releases: Enola Holmes 2 & More

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities’, ‘Wendell and Wild’, ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’, ‘If Only’, and ‘The Devil’s Hour’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

The White Lotus Season-2 (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 31st October)

The comedy drama anthology series revolves around the lives of the guests and staff members of the fictional White Lotus tropical resort chain. Unlike last season’s Hawaii-set story, the upcoming season has been set in Sicily.

Inside Man (Streaming on Netflix from 31st October)

Steven Moffat’s dark mystery drama series follows a prisoner (Stanley Tucci), who is facing death penalty in the US and how he assists a British journalist, who is trying to find a friend who has suddenly gone missing.

Young Royals Season-2 (Streaming on Netflix from 1st November)

The Swedish drama series is centered on the story of Prince Whilhelm and his life at the boarding school Hillerska. How he develops a relationship with a school mate and the challenges that come along, forms the show’s premise.

Blockbuster (Streaming on Netflix from 3rd November)

The workplace comedy series features Randall Park as Timmy Yoon, a movie lover and the manager of the last Blockbuster Video Store who struggles to keep his small business afloat amidst stiff competition and his staff’s problems.

Enola Holmes 2 (Streaming on Netflix from 4th November)

It’s a sequel to the 2020 film ‘Enola Holmes’ and features Millie Bobby Brown in the lead role alongside Henry Cavill in the role of the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes and the brother of the film’s titular protagonist. The sequel focuses on Enola Holmes’ first official case: finding the missing sister of an impoverished girl and how she tries to solve it with the help of her friends and her genius brother Sherlock.

Manifest Season-4 (Streaming on Netflix from 4th November)

The mystery sci-fi series revolves around a group of passengers who somehow safely land after a turbulent flight. However, they soon learn that five years have already passed mysteriously in such a short time and the world has moved on after assuming that they were gone forever. They soon realize that their second chance is meant for something greater.

My Policeman (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 4th November)

Based on Bethan Roberts’ 2020 novel of the same name, the romantic comedy movie features Harry Styles as Tom Burgess, a gay cop in 1950s Brighton who is in a secret romantic relationship with a museum curator named Patrick and married to a teacher named Marion.

Bullet Train (Streaming on Netflix from 5th November)

Helmed by David Leitch (Deadpool 2, Hobbs & Shaw), the action-comedy movie is based on Japanese author Kotaro Isaka’s book ‘Maria Beetle’. The film’s underlying premise revolves around five assassins traveling on a Japanese bullet train and how their individual missions intersect in the high-speed adventure. Brad Pitt essays the role of an experienced but unlucky mercenary.
