OTT giant Netflix has many exciting films and series titles lined up for release during the first fortnight of the month of November, that is, from 1st November 2021 to 14th November 2021. The Harder They Fall (Film, Streaming from 3rd November)
It’s a Western drama featuring an ensemble that includes Idris Elba, Jonathan Majors, Zazie Beetz, and Regina Kings, amongst others. When outlaw Nat Love learns about his enemy being released from prison, he assembles his old team to avenge the death of his parents.
Meenakshi Sundareshwar (Film, Streaming from 5th November)
A romantic comedy that features Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dassani in the lead roles. The film is reportedly based on the struggles of long-distance relationships faced by a newly married couple.
Narcos: Mexico: Season 3 (Series, Streaming from 5th November)
The third and final installment of ‘Narcos: Mexico’ will ostensibly be set in the 1990s and revolve around the war that breaks out after the fall of the Guadalajara Cartel empire headed by Felix. The third season is expected to witness the emergence of new and independent cartels and their fight for survival.
A Cop Movie (Film, Streaming from 5th November)
It’s a part-fact part-fiction documentary film that is narrated from the perspective of two cops Teresa and Montoya and their experience of working with the Mexican police department.
Gloria (Series, Streaming from 5th November)
It’s a historical espionage thriller series comprising ten episodes. Set in the 1960s era, Gloria is set in the titular village amidst the backdrop of the Cold War and the plotline revolves around a young man named Joao Vidal who gets recruited by KGB to execute dangerous spy missions.
Father Christmas Is Back (Film, Streaming from 6th November)
It’s a British comedy film starring Elizabeth Hurley, John Cleese, Kelsey Grammer, and Nathalie Cox and revolves around four feuding sisters who gather for a reunion at Christmas in a Yorkshire mansion. Things take an interesting turn when their long-lost father makes an entry.
Animal (Series, Streaming from 10th November)
Narrated by Bryan Cranston, Rashida Jones, Rebel Wilson, and Pedro Pascal, the docu-series would capture the world’s most magnificent creatures in never-seen-before moments. The first season of the show would follow eight animal families including a lioness, a wild dog, a kangaroo, and a giant octopus, amongst others.
Passing (Film, Streaming from 10th November)
In this film helmed by actor-turned-director Rebecca Hall in her directorial debut, ‘Passing’ is a black-and-white drama (in a literal sense too) that is based on the titular notion for African American people passing as white because of their white enough skin color. The plot revolves around the reunion of two mixed-race high school friends.
7 Prisoners (Film, Streaming from 11th November)
It’s a Brazilian drama film that follows an impoverished 18-year-old boy Mateus who becomes embroiled in the dangerous world of human trafficking after accepting a job in a junkyard.
Red Notice (Film, Streaming from 12th November)
Helmed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, the much-anticipated action-comedy thriller film features WWE star turned Hollywood actor Dwayne Johnson as an FBI profiler who teams up with an art thief (Ryan Reynolds) to catch the world’s most wanted art thief (Gal Gadot).
