Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have collated a list of top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.
Kotigobba 3 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 29th November)
A sequel to the 2016 action film ‘Kotogobba 2’, the movie narrates the story of the film’s protagonist Sathya (played by Sudeep). Sathya becomes the target of Interpol officers Sharath (Aftab Shivdasani) and Kangana (Shraddha Das) after a mysterious masked man and a lookalike of Satya executes a heist.
Bob Biswas (Streaming on Zee5 from 3rd December)
In ‘Bob Biswas’, Abhishek Bachchan plays the titular character who was first seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s 2012 cult mystery film ‘Kahaani’. The upcoming spin-off film ‘Bob Biswas’ focuses on the eccentric character, who is portrayed as a mild-mannered contract killer suffering from memory loss. His predicament worsens when he gets a new killing assignment as he tries to balance his personal and professional lives while still trying to remember his old life.
Inside Edge Season 3 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 3rd December)
Directed by Kanishk Varma, the third season of the immensely popular sports drama ‘Inside Edge’ is slated to start streaming from 3rd December. The critically acclaimed cricket-based show revolves around the ups and downs of a fictional T20 cricket team called Mumbai Mavericks, which is one of the many teams playing in the high-profile Powerplay League. The third season will chronicle the next phase of the journey of the Mumbai Mavericks cricket team.
Cobalt Blue (Streaming on Netflix from 3rd December)
Based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Sachin Kundalkar, its Netflix film adaptation revolves around a brother-sister duo (played by Neelay Mehendale and Anjali Sivaraman) who both fall in love with their charming paying guest (Prateik Babbar), thereby creating ripples in their orthodox Marathi family.
Sivakumarin Sabadham (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 3rd December)
Written and directed by Aadhi, it’s a Tamil comedy-drama movie that follows the journey of a young man who belongs to a weaver’s family and how he makes it his mission to revive its lost glory as he faces a textile tycoon.
