The Lincoln Lawyer (Netflix)

This David E. Kelly series takes its inspiration from Michael Connelly’s 2008 novel, The Brass Verdict. Viewers will witness the protagonist taking on different cases in Los Angeles. The show has been renewed for a second season, expected to come out next year.

Goliath (Amazon Prime Video)

Another David E. Kelly show has made this list. Veteran Billy Bob Thornton plays Billy McBride, once a highly talented lawyer, now a washed-up and alcoholic guy. Nina Arianda, Tania Raymonde, and William Hurt play important supporting roles in the show.

When They See Us (Netflix)

Ava DuVernay’s When They See Us is undoubtedly one of the best miniseries on Netflix. In 1989, the infamous Central Park Jogger case happened.
