The first half of the month of March had witnessed some exciting OTT titles that started streaming on the Netflix streaming platform. The list includes ‘The Adam Project’, ‘Against the Ice’, ‘The Pirates: The Last Royal’, ‘The Weekend Away’, ‘Worst Roommate Ever’, and ‘The Andy Warhol Diaries’, etc.
Likewise, the second half of March will also see some new films and shows making their way to Netflix. Here are the top new titles streaming on Netflix from 15th March to 31st March 2022.
Pedal to Metal (Streaming from 16th March)
The ten-part series is set against the backdrop of illegal street racing and revolves around the story of two friends Kike and Noche who run away from Monterrey to Mexico City after a race drive goes wrong. This one might a good watch for fans of the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise.
Hei$t: The Great Robbery of Brazil’s Central Bank (Streaming from 16th March)
The three-part docuseries is based on one of the world’s biggest heists which happened in Fortaleza, Brazil in August 2005. In the incredible theft, more than 160 million Brazilian reais were stolen from a bank vault of the Central Bank of Brazil by a group of thieves using an 80 meters long tunnel.
Soil (Streaming on Netflix from 17th March)
It’s a dark comedy Belgian series that revolves around the lives of Moroccans living in Belgium. The story is based on the tradition that Moroccans repatriate the dead. But an entrepreneur decides to change the business with the idea of burying the dead in Belgium in authentic Moroccan soil. The business idea is met with resistance and that forms the show’s underlying premise.
Eternally Confused and Eager for Love (Streaming from 18th March)
It’s a coming-of-age comedy-drama series set in an eight-episode format. The show follows the amusing story of an introvert and confused 24-year-old man named Ray (played by Vihaan Samat), who is on a desperate quest to find love. He has an imaginary friend (Jim Sarbh) who invariably misguides him. The show also features Rahul Bose and Suchitra Pillai in important roles.
Windfall (Streaming from 18th March)
Helmed by Charlie McDowell, the Hitchcockian home invasion thriller follows the story of an affluent couple (Jesse Plemons and Lily Collins) who visit their apparently empty vacation home where they find out that the place is being robbed. Soon after, they are taken hostage by the robber (Jason Segel).
Human Resources (Streaming from 18th March)
The ten-part animated series is a spin-off from the adult animated sitcom ‘Big Mouth’. The workplace comedy show revolves around the daily lives of creatures like Lovebug, Depression Kitties, and Hormone Monsters and how these characters help humans through their various stages of life.
Young, Famous & African (Streaming on Netflix from 18th March)
The reality show revolves around a group of young, rich, and A-list media personalities from South Africa, Nigeria, and East Africa. They come together in South Africa’s largest city Johannesburg in their mission to search for love and revive their relationships.
Is It Cake? (Streaming on Netflix from 18th March)
The competition reality show would have nine highly skilled bakers who would participate in a brain wrecking baking contest where they would create tempting cakes that look like ultra-realistic replicas of daily objects like bowling bowls, shoes, toys, handbags, sewing machines, burgers, etc.
Bridgerton Season 2 (Streaming from 25th March)
Based on Julia Quinn’s novels and set amidst the backdrop of Regency-era London, the show follows the lives of eight siblings who belong to the rich and influential Bridgerton family and their quest to find love in the high society of London.
