Some TV shows enjoy a cult following. They may not be very popular among the mass but definitely enjoy a massive following among a particular fan base. True Detective is definitely among such shows which are celebrated by its followers. This HBO show premiers on Disney+Hotstar in India.

Sometimes the name of the show/movie get changed and their fate becomes highly unpredictable. The second and third season was not that popular and failed to impress the audience as much as the first season did. Maybe the name change has been made to promise a new flavour to the show which was sort of missing in the last two seasons.
Regardless, HBO Max has confirmed that the fourth season will be titled “True Detective: Night Country”
HBO head Casey Bloys stated, “On True Detective, we’ve been developing various ideas. Stay tuned on that one.”
This can be a highly promising statement if True Detective Season 4 comes out to be as good if not better than the first season. After almost three years, the making of the 4th season is in progress and it is great news for the fans of the show.
