The series was one of the most anticipated HBO shows in recent years. And it did not disappoint. The leading man plays Joel, a hardened survivor who suffers from the trauma of his daughter’s death. Black Summer (2019-21)

Set in the Z Nation universe, Black Summer focuses on Rose (Jaime King), a mother who gets separated from her daughter in the early days of the zombie apocalypse. Viewers will witness her facing the dangerous new world, taking harsh decisions, and doing whatever she can to find her daughter. This spin-off entry is much better than Z Nation.

This Danish post-apocalyptic series is highly underrated. A rainfall, carrying a deadly virus, wipes out almost all humans in Scandinavia, Northern Europe. Six years after that horrifying incident, a brother-sister duo, Rasmus and Simone, embark on a path to find their lost father. Dr Frederik Andersen, the siblings’ father, is also a scientist. He left them in a bunker to protect them but never returned.
