Happy days are here again for fans of The Viral Fever’s Amazon Prime Video Original series ‘Hostel Daze’. The young adult, coming-of-age series will soon be back with its much-awaited new season. Streaming giant Prime Video announced the premiere date for Hostel Daze Season 3 this afternoon. The series arrives on Prime Video on November 16, much to the delight of its legion of fans.
However, along with the good news comes a piece of bad news for Hostel Daze Season 3. There’s a major cast change in the offing for the series. Actor Adarsh Gourav, the lead of the first two seasons of the show, is missing from the cast lineup for Hostel Daze Season 3. Adarsh Gourav played the role of Dopa, aka Ankit Pandey, on the show, and was the primary character in the series. Unfortunately, the actor is not returning for Hostel Daze Season 3.
Hostel Daze Season 3 will see the return of most of its remaining original cast, though. Nikhil Vijay returns as ‘Jhantoo’, aka Jatin, Shubham Gaur as ‘Bhasins Buddhi’, aka Rupesh Bhati, Luv Vispute as ‘Genius’, aka Chirag Bansal, along with Utsav Sarkar, Ahsaas Channa and Ayushi Gupta in prominent roles.
Hostel Daze depicts the life of engineering students living in hostels. Kota Factory showed what it takes for kids to get into a top engineering college. Hostel Daze goes one step ahead — it decodes what it takes to clear the gruelling four years of engineeeing through the story of a bunch of engineering students and their travails of living in a hostel, dealing with studies, submissions and first crushes.
Hostel Daze Season 3 is slated to drop on Amazon Prime Video in nine days time, that is on November 16.
