The talks about Varun Dhawan collaborating with The Russo Brothers surfaced a long time ago on the internet. Now, the makers have made it official. According to the latest reports, both stars will lead the project with the directional duo of Raj and DK at the helm. The upcoming series will premiere on the Amazon Prime Video streaming platform.
Samantha has already worked with Raj and DK on the sophomore season of The Family Man. Now, she is ready to star opposite Varun Dhawan in Russos’ forthcoming action thriller series. We already know that the actor is on a signing spree these days. He has finished his shoot for Bhediya and currently working on Jugg Jugg Jeeyo. Furthermore, he is also involved with Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming production.
On the other hand, the leading lady Samantha is everywhere these days. Her upcoming Shaakuntalam’s production is complete. Plus, she is busy filming Yashoda and Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
The impending action thriller series will go on the floors next year. It will be a high-budget instalment with internationally reputed stunt coordinators and VFX artists joining soon. Additionally, it will be a spin-off to the original Citadel series. Priyanka Chopra Jonas also played a supporting character in the original entry.
