It’s Telugu superstar Venkatesh‘s birthday today. To mark the occasion, Netflix revealed the first look of the actor from ‘Rana Naidu’, Venkatesh’s upcoming web series for Netflix, much to the delight of fans of the actor. ‘Rana Naidu’ will also mark Venkatesh’s debut in the world of web shows.
‘Rana Naidu’ also stars another popular Telugu actor, Rana Daggubati. The duo will make a power-packed team in the show. Rana Daggubati is also making his web series debut with the Netflix show. Venkatesh can be seen sporting greying hair in the first look from ‘Rana Naidu’ that Netflix unveiled this morning. A salt and pepper mustache and checked shirt completes his look from ‘Rana Naidu’.
More than Venkatesh’s clothes and styling from the upcoming Netflix show, what catches attention about his look from ‘Rana Naidu‘ is the cheeky smile on his face and the wicked twinkle in his eye. For those who don’t know, Venkatesh is playing an ex-con in ‘Rana Naidu’. He teams up with his son, a ‘fixer’, to troubleshoot, or rather, ‘fix’ problems for the high and mighty of Bollywood. Rana Naidu is the go-to guy for influential “Bollywood-wallahs” when they have a problem.
‘Rana Naidu’ is the official Indian adaptation of the SHOWTIME® popular American drama series ‘Ray Donovan’. It is being produced by Locomotive Global Inc. The format rights are licensed by ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group. Karan Anshuman (Inside Edge, Mirzapur) is the showrunner and director of Rana Naidu. Suparn Verma (The Family Man 2) is the co-director.
Venkatesh fans simply can’t wait for Rana Naidu to debut on Netflix. The actor, who’s known as Victory Venkatesh for his marvellous record of giving back to back hit films year after year, will be seen in an out and out comedy role. What’s not to look forward to!
