Even though Ranveer Singh‘s 83 was a highly unsuccessful film, it is hands down the most awaited film on Indian OTT. The film has a large star cast with Ranveer Singh leading the show. Regardless, the film produced under Reliance Entertainment, Nadiadwala Grandson and a few others will premiere on TV on March 20th.
The channel will be Star Gold and the talks surrounding its OTT release are getting hotter.
The buzz suggests that the film will get a dual OTT release, unlike a single platform that most of the films land on.
Meaning it will follow the footsteps of Thalaivii was released on both Netflix and Prime Video. Similarly, 83 is expected to land on both Netflix and Disney+Hotstar.
Needless to say, most films opt for OTT release before their TV premiere. If that is the case then there is less than 1 month for 83 to land on any OTT platform.
