One of India’s first successful entertainment company, The Viral Fever (TVF) home to series such as Permanent Roommates, Tripling, Bachelors, and Pitchers and recently Panchayat among others has had a rapidly growing trajectory and known as a powerhouse in the industry.
But according to news reports, the company is going through a rough patch. Some of the key members of the company such as Amit Golani, Saurabh Khanna, Nidhi Bisht, Sameer Bajaj, Biswapati Sarkar among others have decided to end their association with the company.
Apparently a difference of opinion in the direction the company should take is the reason for this collective exit. As of now TVF is headed by Vijay Koshy and Arunabh Kumar and has several productions lined-up for release.
TVF was founded by Arunabh Kumar and was a game-changer in the OTT industry and expanded the web series genre with unique storylines and exciting talent. Although the company has recently found itself in various legal soups and uncertainty it made a comeback with the comedy drama ‘Panchayat’ streaming on Amazon Prime. This move by the company’s core talent and team will definitely affect its future and might rock its seemingly steady boat.
