Prime Video has finalized the series that nobody asked for. The woke virus almost parasited upon Netflix and the result was devastating for them. So much so that they changed their entire strategy which they kept for years.
Regardless, Prime Video is not infamous for the same reason. Instead, they are known for great shows which also appeals to the mass. Mirzapur, The Family Man, and Pataal Lok are fine examples of the same.
They are greatly appreciated by the audience and are near perfect if we consider the cinematic aspects.
But, Prime Video recently did something which didn’t go well with the audience. They announced the release date for Four More Shots Please which is undoubtedly one of the worst series ever made. It is woke, unnecessarily bold, and extremely poor in terms of content and execution.
Even after trolling and abuse, Prime Video has renewed it and it is coming for the third season. If we consider this whole year then apart from Suzhal: The Vortex, then there hasn’t been any truly appreciable series from the platform, and now this!!
Showing urban stories is never bad. Gehraiyaan premiered on Prime Video itself and gained a positive response from the critics. Even Prime Video’s very own “Made In Heaven” is a really nice show which shows some of the best characters on the Indian OTT.
But offering problematic concepts in name of modernity is NEVER gonna help Prime Video in any way except hampering its image.
