Netflix India has just dropped a jaw dropping teaser of Ye Kaali Kaali Ankhein. It stars Tahir Raj Bhasin, Shweta Tripathi, Anchal Singh and Saurabh Shukla in the lead.
If you closely observe then it appears to be a romantic triangle but with a spooky background score. It is understandable as well. We have seen so many love triangles that the same formula is barely going to work.
At least in the teaser, we can sense something new.
Shikha played by Shweta Tripathi is a young girl who happens to be a student. Tahir Raj Bhasin is attracted to her and tries to impress her. Just like a majority of Bollywood films, the girl becomes his girlfriend after a fair share of creepy stalking.
But a mysterious girl Purva enters their happy relationship. Tahir never liked her right since childhood but she won’t tolerate getting ignored.
What is new in this seemingly love triangle film is action, guns and mystery. In the short teaser we can see a fair share of them.
Looks like that Saurabh Shukla is playing the same stereotyped politician in our country.
Ye Kaali Kaali Ankhein is a chartbuster and evergreen song from Shahrukh Khan’s Baazigar. We just hope that 2022 gives us more original songs.
Regardless, Ye Kaali Kaali Ankhein is set to release on 14th January next year only on Netflix.
