Rahul Bhat is set to reunite with Netflix India after winning praise for his performance in the hit prison drama Black Warrant. The actor has joined the cast of an upcoming heist series for the streaming platform, which is being directed by Soumendra Padhi, best known for Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega.
According to reports, the series is a large-scale thriller that revolves around a high-stakes heist. While the title and plot details are still under wraps, the project is being described as one of Netflix India’s most ambitious productions. Bhat will be seen as part of an ensemble cast and is said to be playing one of the most challenging roles of his career. The actor has already completed shooting for his part.
Speaking about the project, Bhat said that the series is unlike anything the Indian OTT industry has attempted before. Well, that is a big claim. Usually, stars do make big claims to hype up a movie, but if Bhat is accurate, then it will be an even bigger success than Black Warrant.
