The protagonist Kalpesh Bhai Patel (Ranvir Shorey) is keen that his America-born kids learn and imbibe Indian values. His wife Payal (Purbi Joshi) too agrees with her husband. Her sister Kinjal (Vega Tamotia) is married to a South Indian man Kannan (Omi Vaidya). The series is a comedy, with each episode touching on a different issue centred on Gujaratis living in America, with humour and drama. The series is back with a special quarantine edition in the midst of the Coronavirus lockdown, in which all actors have shot for the series from their own homes. The special edition consists of five episodes of 3-5 minutes each. The episodes will deal with different issues that crop up due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the nationwide lockdown, and how the family will cope with them.
