The digital rights of the Tamil movie ‘Vasco Da Gama’ has been acquired by Amazon Prime Video and it will be soon streaming on the platform.

The movie is a futuristic exploration of morality with a humourous lens. The premise of the movie is interesting and has a commentary on the current socio-political state of the country. ‘Vasco Da Gama’ tells the story of a upside down world where virtue is sneered upon and the malicious and vicious are revered. Vasudev is a young man who tries to protect his honesty at all costs and faces many troubles in the virtue-less world because of that. The world building in the movie is quite good. There is a hospital named ‘Naraka’ that has a huge statue of Satan. There is police that only arrests the innocent people. Innocence has no place in the world and Vasudev soon finds himself in jail. He falls in love but there are many troubles in his love life as well. To know what happens to Vasudev at last, you will have to watch the movie.
‘Vasco Da Gama’ is a witty movie and good for a one time watch. It has not done a very good business at the box office and has received mixed reviews from critics. The movie stars actors like Nakhul, R. S. Ravikumar Arthana Binu and Anandraj and the performances are quite impressive.
