Lukkhe is an upcoming series that will release on Prime Video India on May 8, 2026. The show was earlier titled Lukkha, but the makers have now changed its name. Directed by Himank Gaur, the series is a musical action drama that focuses on rap culture and street rivalries.
The story is set in Chandigarh and follows the intense clash between two rappers, MC Badnaam and OG. Their rivalry, more than music, also involves revenge, ambition, and personal struggles. The show aims to capture the energy of underground rap battles while telling an emotional story about dreams and life choices. Its tagline, “Rap and Revenge, Both Are Loud,” reflects the tone of the series.
Lukkhe features Raashii Khanna and rapper King in the lead roles. The cast also includes Palak Tiwari, Lakshvir Singh Saran, Nakul Roshan Sahdev, Kritika Bhardwaj, Shivankit Parihar, Yograj Singh, and Ayesha Raza Mishra. The series has been produced by Vipul D Shah and Rajesh Bahl.
With eight episodes, the show is a different kind of musical. It is more focused on hip hop than classical music like Bandish Bandits. The first look suggests that rap battles will play a big role in the story. Since musical dramas have worked well on streaming platforms in the past, it will be interesting to see how Lukkhe connects with the audience.
