Netflix has announced that Part 4 of the popular French crime drama Lupin will premiere on October 23. The new season will feature eight episodes and will see Omar Sy return as Assane Diop, the clever thief who has won fans around the world.
The upcoming season continues the story after the dramatic ending of Part 3. After spending much of the season in hiding and carrying out a series of daring thefts, Assane decided to surrender to the police in order to protect his family and friends. This unexpected decision left viewers eager to find out what happens next.
Several familiar faces will return alongside Omar Sy, including Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab, Shirine Boutella, Théo Christine, and Laïka Blanc-Francard.
Produced by Gaumont and Carrousel Studios, Lupin is inspired by the famous character Arsène Lupin, created by French writer Maurice Leblanc. Instead of directly adapting the classic stories, the series follows Assane Diop, who uses the tricks and ideas of the legendary gentleman thief in modern-day France.
Since its debut in 2021, Lupin has become one of Netflix’s most successful international series. The show has been praised for its exciting story, clever twists, and Omar Sy’s performance. With a new season on the way, fans can look forward to more mystery, suspense, and surprises when Lupin returns this October.
