After all the chaos that has been happening sinve morning, ‘Master‘ team clarified that they will prefer a theatrical release though they had offer from the streaming giant Netflix. They released a note to clarify the things about mass star Vijay Ilayapathy movie’s release.
This clarification came out after the confusion that was caused due to a report that claimed the Netflix bought the digital streaming rights of the movie. The on going crisis has created big threat for the theatrical business and we see many theatres closed and out of business.
So, the team feels the need to stand for the theatrical release as it’s the need of the hour to survive the crisis in the Tamil Film Industry. The press note was released by Seven Screen Studio’s Lalit Kumar.
‘Master’ being a big budget movie, we don’t think that the makers of the movie would risk the hype by choosing an OTT release. So, this clarifies on the rumors that have been making rounds about the price Netflix has offered and the makers took it.
