Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival (MAMI stands for Mumbai Academy of Moving Image) has recently disclosed information about an exclusive pre-release screening of Netflix anthology ‘Ray’. Additionally, you may get an opportunity to interact with the creators on adapting ‘Ray’ and the efforts that went behind compiling the four stories inspired by Satyajit Ray’s timeless classics.
The festival’s upcoming session of ‘Dial M For Films’ titled ‘The Anatomy Of An Anthology’ has been dedicated to the Netflix anthology series ‘Ray’. It will be held on June 21, 2021, at 11:00 AM.
In case you want to watch ‘Ray’ ahead of its release, then you may visit the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival website to register for the same. Go to “Click Here To Register For Upcoming Dial M For Films Sessions” link displayed on the website. Thereafter, follow the “Register Here” tab under the relevant session ‘The Anatomy Of An Anthology’. Alternatively, you may directly register from the link mentioned in the relevant Twitter post of the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.
Thereafter, you will be asked to fill up a form. For watching ‘Ray’, it seems to be a prerequisite to be a registered member of the ‘MAMI Year Round Programme’. As per the website, the membership for the ‘MAMI Year Round Programme’ is free. The deadline for filling up the form is stated as June 17, 2021, till 12:00 PM.
In case you are selected to attend the session, you may receive a screener of the Netflix series ‘Ray’ ahead of its release.
