SS Rajamouli’s RRR is a pan-India film that is created with a big vision and budget. It has some of the top names in the business portraying pivotal roles as it aims to leave a mark on the industry. RRR has N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan in lead roles while Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody play supporting roles.
RRR has been making the rounds for a long time and has created a surreal hype among the audience, and we have the latest update about it. Pen studios which is lead by Jayantilal Gada, has landed the rights for this hugely awaited title. The rights include theatrical rights in North India and electronic, digital as well as satellite rights for all languages.
Pen studios which is founded and owned by Jayantilal Gada has gained prominence over the years and has produced films like Kahani and Commando as well as the animated version of ‘Mahabharat.’
RRR comes when the cinema industry has been hit very badly by the after-effects of the pandemic. Films chose to take the OTT route as they could not hold on for much longer, and cinema houses had to suffer major losses. A big-budget movie like RRR will hopefully get things back on track for these cinema houses as theatres have started to reopen.
RRR is a period drama that is made in the backdrop of the 1920s and revolves around the life of two fictional freedom fighters who bravely fought against the British and the Nizam of Hyderabad.
