Mammootty looked super handsome in the poster with a dark coloured uniform and a matching cap, justifying the character of him in the movie “The Devil Ruthless Saviour”. Alongwith Mammukka, the film also features Akhil Akkineni in the lead. Sakshi Vaidya has been zeroed in for the leading lady and there are speculations for Sonu Sood to the lead as the antagonist.
The film was announced in 2020, started with it’s production last year and was expected to released on December 24, but failed to do so, owing to the pandemic emergence. Now it’s theatrical release has been pushed to next year, with the shoot beheld to start from the second week of February.
Recently Mammootty was garnered with a lot of love for his Malayalam action thriller “Bheeshma Parvam”, which was released on last week. “Agent” will mark Mammootty’s fourth project in Telugu after Mounam Sammadham(1989), Swathi Kirnam (1992), Surya Putrulu (1996) and Yatra (2019).
Vakkantham Vamsi penned down this crime thriller, making this the third movie in which we are seeing this director-writer duo after the blockbusters “Kick” and “RaceGurram”.
