It was earlier difficult for a woman to even think about a business. In today’s world, though women have the liberty to think about business, it is still hard to run them. In a world filled with men, it is difficult to rise above them as they will be the ones pulling you down. Such is the story of Netflix’s next Telugu movie, “Miss India”, releasing on the 4th of November. Miss India stars the National Award Winner Keerthy Suresh and her journey to become a leading lady in the business world.
To start a business, one says we don’t really need an out of the box object, but an out of the box idea to bring out that simple object to the forefront. Miss India showcases the very famous “Indian Chai” as that simple object which Samyuktha (Keerthy Suresh) wants to put out to the world. A chai, intact with all the flavours that this great nation loves. But the journey isn’t easy. She fights her family and the world to gain what she dreamt about all her life. We see a young Samyuktha in the beginning of the trailer, where she is asked what she wants to do and she replies with an “MBA and opening my own business”. It is shown how a small girl too can have such dreams and this movie proves it right as to how and why one should follow the dream even when people stop you to do it.
It is not easy for a woman to be at a leading position in the working world much rather opening up a business. But today we have seen examples and we have idols that have proved every notion of our very cultural belief, wrong. We have women leading every field of work today and that has only been possible, because she could prove she will be good at it and that it is her thing.
Miss India, too holds a similar belief and story. This movie is not just for women wanting to live their dreams but also for everyone who wants to start up their own business and succeed. This is in fact a true example of women empowerment. One where a woman is empowered to make something out of her even when all odds are against her
Miss India will tell the tale how one can fail, one can be pulled back, one can be pushed back but one shouldn’t stop believing in themselves and make their dreams come true and lead the world. Irrespective of what gender category you belong to. Dreaming and fulfilling those dreams are for everyone
