Red Notice is currently topping the viewership charts with the highest opening. However, this achievement didn’t come all out of a sudden. You see, the last film that held the record of the highest opening was Extraction. It received 99 million views on the release date. According to Ryan Reynolds, Red Notice crossed that record by a margin that we are not aware of yet.
Even during Extraction, the participation of the Indian audience was on a very high level. The same can be observed here as well as Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot particularly have a very decent fan following all across India.
But fan following alone does not help in bringing views. For the first time in the history of international cinema, we saw something interesting. “Dina Thanthi”, which is the local Tamil newspaper, was flaunting the front page full-page advertisement of Red Notice. Viewers had never seen such a thing before and that might be one of the reasons the participation of Indians was seen on such an appreciable level.
Although this film is a mass entertainer and people are loving it, critics are not very happy with it. They are calling the story mundane and something we have seen so many times. Still, people are extremely excited about this movie and giving the movie an overwhelming response.
If you find yourself interested in action crime movies then you can watch this film. But, it will be easier for you if you do not apply too much logic and reasoning. Because this film is meant only for mass entertainment and nothing else.
