As announced earlier, the makers of RRR have unveiled the third single from the film’s audio album. The song is titled ‘Janani‘ and it depicts the ‘soul’ of RRR. The unit has been hyping up the arrival of the song and it is finally out now. As implied by Rajamouli, Janani is a soul stirring song that has a great deal of emotional connect.
The visuals shown in the lyrical video showcase the heartbreaks and hardships the lead characters, played by Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgan, and Alia Bhatt go through. The puzzled and horrifying looks the central characters carry through the course of the song might be an indication that Janani comes at a crucial juncture in the film and it will have a whole lot of prominence in the narrative.
“#Janani/#Uyire is the crux, heart, and soul of #RRRMovie in its most heartfelt form… Presenting #RRRSoulAnthem composed by the one and only
@mmkeeravaani… Hope it stimulates your emotions and connects with the true spirit of #RRRMovie.” Rajamouli wrote as he shared the song on his social media handles.
Keeravani’s tune and composition carry a deep and intense vibe. The lyrics are fitting and they portray the pain and agony of the central characters, in what could be considered the fight for independence backdrop. Needless to say, Janani isn’t a mass-pleasing number and it is rather a conceptual one that exhibits the theme and essence of RRR.
RRR is up for theatrical release on the 7th of January. The promotional campaign is in full swing now.
