Yesterday, eminent Telugu actor Jr. NTR, who had tested positive for Covid-19 some time back, took to Twitter and posted a heartfelt note to apprise his fans that he was doing well and subsequently made a judicious appeal to stay home and not to celebrate his birthday while the country is fighting a war against Covid-19.
A few hours later, DVV Entertainment disclosed that an intense Komaram Bheem, which is Jr. NTR’s character from S.S. Rajamouli’s period epic film ‘RRR’ (Rise, Roar, Revolt) will be unveiled at 10 AM tomorrow, coinciding with Jr. NTR’s birthday. Keeping its earlier promise, the film’s legendary director S.S. Rajamouli has revealed a stunning, never-seen-before image of the legendary character Komaram Bheem.
Rajamouli’s post began with the rhyming words “My Bheem has a heart of gold. But when he rebels, he stands strong and bold!”. The aesthetic poster features Jr. NTR’s formidable character standing over a splashing pool of water, holding a spear in his right hand, and he is all set to launch the mighty weapon on an unseen adversary, all this amidst a magnificent, stormy backdrop. Jr. NTR’s expressive, intense eyes can be spotted even from a distance. We still can’t get over the mesmerizing picture of the superstar. It’s that addictive.
Komaram Bheem, the character essayed by Jr. NTR in the highly anticipated film ‘RRR’, was a tribal leader who fought against the feudal landlords during the Nizam’s rule. And the upcoming film ‘RRR’ is a fictional tale ostensibly revolving around the lives of two real-life, legendary revolutionaries namely Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sita Ramaraju (which is being played by acclaimed actor Ram Charan).
Besides featuring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, ‘RRR’ will also star Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in prominent roles. ‘RRR’ is slated for a theatrical release on October 13, 2021, as also mentioned in Komaram Bheem’s new poster. And, like everyone else, we too are waiting with bated breath for arguably the most anticipated theatrical release of the year.
