Globally renowned Swedish audio streaming app Spotify has recently announced its tie-up with OTT giant Netflix through which it will become a one-stop-shop streaming home to the official soundtracks, playlists, and podcasts pertaining to various Netflix films and shows. The newly included segment is being aptly called Netflix Hub.
The Netflix Hub feature can currently be availed by both free and premium Spotify users in various countries namely the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, and India. Moreover, the feature can be accessed through Spotify’s mobile app as well as from its web application.
For accessing the service, Spotify users can just type the keyword Netflix on the app’s search bar to listen to Netflix related content such as the ‘Red Notice’ soundtrack, ‘Money Heist’ playlist, ‘Cowboy Bebop’ and ‘My Name’ soundtracks, music track from ‘The Witcher’, and soundtracks from superhit shows like ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘Squid Game’, to name of few.
Netflix Hub on Spotify will also include several Netflix-related podcasts including ‘Okay’, ‘Now Listen, Netflix Is A Daily Joke’, ’10/10 Would Recommend’, ‘You Can’t Make This Up’, as per Spotify’s recent announcement.
Not just that, a quick Netflix keyword search on the Spotify audio streaming app will yield results for a number of Netflix India films and shows like ‘Kota Factory: Season 2’, ‘Navarasa’ soundtrack, and ‘Feels Like Ishq’, to name a few.
This is not the first time that Spotify has created an OTT platform dedicated hub for its streaming app. Earlier too, the audio streaming giant had collaborated with Disney to launch Disney Hub, which comprised Disney-related soundtracks, podcasts, and playlists, back in the year 2019.
