A father, Rob, in recovery, travels from New York to see his estranged daughter, Zo, who’s living in a remote cabin in Montana. With him is an urn containing the ashes of his son, Zo’s brother who killed himself. Their mission is to scatter the ashes at his favorite spot on the Yellowstone River. What begins as an uneasy reunion soon becomes a cathartic journey toward personal redemption and reconciliation.
