The OTT release date of HIT: The First Case has been officially announced. The film starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra in the lead role was released on 15th July 2022.
Given the condition of Indian theatres, it came as no surprise that the film failed to leave any impact at the Box Office and went unnoticed.
Apart from Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra, the film stars Shilpa Shukla, Dalip Tahil, Sanjay Narvekar, and Milind Gunaji in titular roles.
The film, as you may already know is the official remake of a Telugu film of the same name. The original was released two years back in 2020 and starred Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in lead roles.
The film revolves around a highly capable police officer who captures the smallest possible details and solves cases with extreme accuracy.
He is also in love with a forensic expert who happens to be his colleague. They are involved in a homicide case and that forms the backbone of the story.
Regardless, HIT: The First Case will release on 28th August on Netflix.
Although with many shortcomings, HIT: The First Case can be a decent one-time watch.
