Shehzada: Kartik Aaryan’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Remake Gets The Perfect Title

By Binged Bureau - Jul 14, 2021 @ 12:07 pm

Kartik Aaryan is the shining star of Bollywood at the moment. He has been on the news for all the right and as well as a few wrong reasons too. But, that isn’t stopping Kartik Aaryan anytime soon. Recently, he was making headlines for being ousted from not one but two movies,

but he came back stronger. Kartik Aaryan, amongst those rumors, also revealed a few of his new upcoming projects, and trust us, all of those new projects are nothing less than exciting.

Recently, Kartik was seen taking part in a dance, and many instantly recognized that. It was the trademark “Butta Bomma” dance from Allu Arjun’s 2020 hit “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo”. He not only impressed his fans but also impressed Allu Arjun’s fans with his dance. That came up because Kartik Aaryan has been officially roped in for the Hindi remake of the hit movie and finally the movie has a title.

The Hindi remake of the hit Telugu film will be called “Shehzada”. The movie will be directed by David Dhawan’s son, Rohit Dhawan. Rohit Dhawan’s last movie was “Dishoom”, which starred his brother Varun Dhawan, John Abraham, and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead. The creators reportedly have spent a staggering Rs. 9 crores to get the rights for the Hindi remake. The project is being bankrolled by S. Radha Krishna, the original producer of the Telugu film.

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo which was released last became one of the highest-grossing Telugu movies and also became one of the highest-grossing Indian films last year, not only in India but also overseas. The Telugu movie has also been taken over for a Tamil remake that will reportedly star Sivakarthikeyan.

As for the original movie, it is an action drama movie that revolves around the story of Bantu, played by Allu Arjun. He is someone who is neglected by his father, all his life and later learns that he was actually swapped as an infant. He finds out years later that his real father is a big businessman and Bantu, enters his house “Vaikunthapuram” to protect his biological family from the threats of an influential man. The movie was directed by Trivikram Srinivas.

As of now, there have been further updates as to who will join Kartik Aaryan for this movie, but given the roles played by some big artists in the original Telugu, it seems like some big stars from Bollywood might be roped in for the movie. As for the title of the movie being, “Shehzada”, given the original plot of the movie, the title perfectly fits the Hindi remake. The lead character for sure is nothing less than a “Shehzada” in the movie, no matter what language the movie is in.
