On September 11, 1973, the coup d’état occurred in Chile. On that day, Hawker Hunter fighter planes attacked the Presidential Palace of La Moneda. Two missions and three targets were targeted: La Moneda, the President Salvador Allende’s house and antennas to prevent communication. Chilean Air Force never revealed the identity of the pilots.
