Set in the small town of Gaya, Bihar this is a film about Kasturi a girl who is married to Subodh, a policeman against her will and on terms of dowry. Things take an unexpected turn when this matchmaking fails due to the insatiable demands of the groom and his family from the bride’s father which leads to an emotional turmoil resulting in the death of both Kasturi and his father.
