This idea originally came to me when I was doing the remake of TATMR back in 2008. I realized that there were many parts in the movie that didn’t make sense. For example, Diesel 10 is said to have been to Sodor before, and James had never heard of Lady the Magical Engine. Using many other key phrases and words from TATMR, I was able to construct a documentary about how Diesel 10 came to be.
