In August 1981, the couple Larisa and Vladimir Savitsky returned from their honeymoon. At an altitude of 5200 meters, their plane collided with a Tu-16 military bomber. The wings of a passenger liner were torn off and the upper part of the fuselage was cut off. The only survivor of this terrible plane crash was Larisa Savitskaya, who, together with her chair, fell into the taiga, where she spent three days until she was accidentally discovered.
